WooHoo...Do We Have Big Girls?

Both girls used the potty chair tonight!! I small success in our house. They are 3 in a month and I have been discussing with them that 3 yr olds don't wear diapers...also, that they have to wear underwear to go to church school. Maybe it is working? Maybe it was luck? Maybe I will find out tomorrow?

Double the Fun...

I gave the girls a bath tonight. It seems that they get a bath every night. I was in their bedroom putting their clothes away, listening to them play together in the bathtub. I heard lots of giggles and it sounded like a great time until...Izzy jumped out of the tub screaming that Maddie threw up. Izzy then looked in the tub and saw what Maddie had left and started throwing up all over the bathroom floor...All I could do was laugh as Maddie started to gag some more. No, Maddie is not sick. They were giving each other drinks of the bath water and Maddie choked as Izzy poured it in her mouth...double the fun!

Life Flies By...

As I look at my last blog...it has been 3 months. My how time flies when you have children. Izzy and Maddie crack me up on a daily basis. I am still in awe of their little "BIG" personalities. They love to sing


...Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle Twinkle, and the ABC song. I sometimes have to remind myself that they are barely 3, because most days they are 3 going on 16. They love each other more than anything, but that doesn't stop themselves from putting their sister in her place..."stop sassing, stop kicking, stop talking, don't sass mom/dad..."

The girls and I went to the MN Zoo with my sister and her family and Grandma Johnson and Auntie Gabbie. The girls did very well and had lots of fun. Maddie wanted to take the time and really observe the animals. Izzy was more of , take a peak and move on.

Easter was fun. They loved all the egg hunts they were a part of. On Easter, Izzy scratched her cornea with a bush branch, while trying to collect more eggs than Maddie. We brought Izzy to Children's ER. She told the Dr. that she was "in the forest looking for eggs," all in the eyes of a child!
